Such an Awful Morning

Anonymous
I have never heard of frying tuna out of a can. Who other than OP does this, and why on earth would you do it in the morning and not the night before?

OP -- you need to take a day off and reassess your life. You have lost your way if you wake up an hour before work when you have a long commute and then spend time frying tuna.

Would you mind sharing your canned tuna recipe?

I'm sorry OP. We all have terrible mornings. You'll cool off and feel better. When you do, try to
think of how to avoid another morning like this. I hope your day gets better!

+1 THAT is probably going the be the most useful thing from this thread. That, and don't fry tuna in your work clothes.

OP, are you the one who posted before about living far out from the city. Get it together lady. That's not an awful morning, it sounds like your regular life.

Share the recipe with your husband too so that he could fry and prepare the sandwiches himself.

Are you depressed?
Is he cheating?
Canned tuna has too many calories when you fry it.

Did I forget anything? I Just wanted to cover all of the canned responses.

I try to add delicious and healthy spices to every day meals so that I am still getting some antioxidants.

I emptied the tuna into the frying pan and fried the tuna in one spoonful of coconut oil. I then mixed in a little bit of turmeric powder, coriander power and cumin powder and some red chili powder.

I slap it on whole wheat toast with a slice of cheese and it is YUM. Eating it now in fact.

This is what I don't get. You claim you have an hour long commute but you didn't get up until 7:30 when you knew you had a conference you had to set up for by 9? OP, you are the agent of your own terrible morning, not your DH.

dude, wait until you have kids. those are real @hit@how mornings, not this.
unless, of course, this is a prelude to how your DH handles life.

Nearly every single bad morning DH and I have is a result of 1. Not getting up early enough and 2. Not preparing well enough the night before. These are your issues, not your commute.

Wake up earlier. Do as much as you can the night before. I'm also not understanding how you wake up an hour before you are supposed to be to work and have such a long commute? Maybe I'm missing something.

We've all had rushed mornings. My DC woke up sick this morning and was such a handful that I totally forgot to brush my teeth this morning. I realized it as I was on my way to work. The best part is that I had a doctor appointment first thing in the morning and didn't have time to stop at CVS and get supplies to brush my teeth before the appointment. Luckily I had gum, but it can only do so much. Not my best day.

Did your clothes or the entire house stink after frying?

That's a great way to make something healthy into an unhealthy fat feast.

My DD (1-year-old) projectile vomited all over several people in suits while in a train carriage on our commute to work. That was an awful morning.
