No. Some put themselves there. |
God has infinite power over his creation, but he can't get everyone to believe in him -- in fact he chose not to do that. He much prefers having a special eternal torture chamber for them. |
Umm, no. |
Then your god is a petty god. Would you refuse to invite your neighbor over to your house b/c she didn't attend church? yet was "respectable" in other ways? If not, you and your god deserve each other. |
No, our God is an awesome God. Too bad you've turned your back on Him. |
And for the thousandth time on this forum, if you don't believe in God or heaven (or hell for that matter) why are you so intent on figuring out where an atheist fits into the believer's vision of the afterlife.
Just try to live your life and ignore what we're doing. You might be happier. |
I think it might be Satan. Sooo angry. |
This has gone on so long that I no longer recall: is there anyone here who thinks that some people have souls and others don't? |
yes, nice religious people think atheists have souls, b they think nice atheists hold go to heaven even if they don't believe in God. Mean Christians, think atheists don't have souls and there for can't go to heaven. Atheists don't think anyone has souls and think that no one goes to heaven or hell. |
First you make a claim that a soul exists. You have to provide evidence. There is no evidence of a soul. |
noooo!!!! There are references to the soul in the bible! You've opened up another can of biblical worms. |
If God loves you at least as much as the person on earth you loves you the most (and of course more), he will not let you perish in hell.. no matter what. Of course, I don't think hell even exists but that is beside the point. |
You are clearly wrong if you are a Christian (or one if its countless denominations), and you believe that Jesus is our savior. It is written in the bible in very absolute terms that those who reject Jesus will go to hell. If you want to debate a topic, you at least have to have a grounded context on which to base your arguments. You cannot be so fluid as to violate one of the basic tenets of your faith. I guess you could claim to be a deist, but I've always found that concept to be counter intuitive to the concept of religion since you've given up the fundamental benefit of having a framework. |
