Be Wary of Racism and Islamophobes

No luck getting the moderator to help you, huh?

For the record, you're talking about at least three different people, but you still insist there's a single Islamophobe bogey-man. I'm 11:33 but I'm not 10:16. Also, the author of the beheading thread you're talking about said she was Catholic so I don't think she's the atheist you're battling (10:16? My telepathy isn't as good as yours) and that's certainly not me.

I agree with 11:33, though, that the moderator doesn't control outcomes of discussions. Except in extreme cases where he deletes - but he hasn't deleted here. What about this is so hard to understand?

You need to learn self-control and to stop posting. You're only hurting yourself.

I'll say this one more time:

I.DONT.GIVE.A.SHIT.HOW.MANY.ISLAMOPHOBES.ARE.IN.YOUR.BACKWOODS.ONE.TOOTHED.GROUP.

You're pretty tough talking on an anonymous forum, aren't you. Why don't you use your real name while expressing your islamophobe views. Cowards spewing hate while hiding behind your anonymity.

I haven't complained to Jeff because I enjoy creating a memorialized thread that shows just how backward some people living here can be. Thank God there are only three of you, though. The rest of the educated, civilized DCUM users are cringing at your islamophobia.

Besides, we already saw you groveling to Jeff because you got spanked. That was enough entertainment for a year.

Moreover, I won't burden him again until I hear one of you tell Muslima (or any Muslim) to go back to her country again.

Where the hell am I? Is this DC? I feel like I'm talking to a bunch of rednecks living in the back woods of Alabama. I am not Muslima, btw.

As a Muslim woman who lived in a Muslim country and who was very active in my local mosques, I have an understanding of how Muslim women think. You guys are ridiculous. You would be hard pressed to find Muslim women who would describe their lives as compared to men as anything other than just AND equal. In their eyes, justice = equality. In their eyes, separate rights does not necessarily mean inequality. A Muslim woman's idea of equality is having rights of equal value as compared to rights afforded to men. Separate rights may still have equal value.

Muslima explained this though she used the term equality. You guys knew full well what she was saying. You just enjoy bashing her because she was bold and proud to identify herself on an otherwise anonymous forum as a Muslim. This is bullying and you know it. Leave her alone and get off this rabid online bashing of a Muslim woman.

You aren't talking to Muslim women. You are talking to majority non-Muslim women.

Secondly, you don't speak for all Muslim women and you have no idea what the totality of them think. Have you met them all? Do you know what ALL of them think? You don't know what a Muslim woman's idea of equality is because there is no such thing as A Muslim Woman. There's women, millions of them, all with their own ideas that don't come out of your little factory.

I have met Muslim women who were distraught by the treatment of courts and judges who wouldn't grant them divorces from their abusive husbands, recommending lots of sabr instead.

I have met Muslim divorced women who kept their new relationships secret out of fear of losing custody of their children if they remarry.

I have met Muslim women and children, both small and grown, shattered by additional marriages their fathers and husbands chose to contract, sometimes in secret from the first families.

I have met Muslim women who had to bribe their drug addict husbands so that they would agree to khul separations.

I have met Muslim women angered by unilateral custody decisions that kept them away from their children, sanctioned by courts.

You don't speak for all Muslim women. You simply have no idea of the diversity of opinions and situations that exist for women in Muslim-majority countries.

The only thing you're memorializing is the record of your own stupidity and childishness.

Jeff isn't going to help you.

You have no idea of what the rest of DCUM is doing.

I don't see you taking a name, either - so why the call against anonymity? You've spewed more abusive language and insults than anyone who engaged in arguing with you. And like the child you are, because you run out of intellectual ammo, you resign to personal insults. Do you have any idea how childish you look?

You predominantly argue for the sake of arguing; I argued to clarify misinterpretations you made about my religion. Yes, I got a few shots in but it's not easy to be patient with someone who has an agenda and is as combative as you.

The moderator doesn't get to call the outcome of a discussion. His emotions - exasperation or otherwise - count for nothing as far as the argument itself is concerned. He ain't the higher power, he isn't salaf so stop presenting his views like he's an uncriticizable companion or something.

+1.

Yes, he does get to call the outcome of the discussion. Read this in FAQ:

Don't all users have a right to free expression and should be able to post anything they like? Isn't it censorship when a Site Administrator interferes with that right?
No and No. We allow great leeway in what users are allowed to say, but Site Administrators reserve the right to delete and/or modify any message at any time for any reason. DCUM is privately owned and operated and, as such, First Amendment rights do not apply (though they are given great reverence).

He hasn't deleted or modified anything, has he?

No one is bashing her. People do not buy her arguments because they find them lacking. That isn't bullying. No one put a gun to her head to post on DCUM; when you post on an Internet forum with a registered name, people will respond and not all of them will like what you have to say.

You, on the other hand (or maybe it isn't you, this is an anonymous forum after all), called other posters bad cooks, soon-to-be divorced, mothers of drug addict children, grannies in miniskirts, etc. Do you think it makes you look good? Or makes your argument stronger? You are coming across as a ridiculous, petulant, intellectually challenged person who reflects poorly on her claimed religion. Real Muslims, if they read your stuff, would be embarrassed for you.

Did he "delete or modify" the posts of anybody here? No. You don't seem to understand that mere differences of opinion are not cause for deletion.

Maybe you should go whine to the moderator now, though, and see if you can get him to delete any posts that challenge your very special definition of "equality." Come back here and let us know how that worked out.

Keep it up. Get yourself kicked off DCUM.

Stop threatening people. That's twice in one day... so far.

You should know the moderator can't kick people off, not even Panty Sniffer. The moderator can delete individual posts or entire threads - but he hasn't chosen to do even that here.

Awww, I am deeply offended, islamophobe. The most amusing irony in all this is that Muslims are here to stay in your life, permanently. You will not be able to escape them. Good luck trying to express your islamophobia publicly.

Personally, I'd find it really entertaining to watch Muslim PP tell Jeff that a bunch of Americans were confused by Muslima's non-standard use of the word "equality" to mean "legal inequality," and how that makes us all Islamophobes.

Too bad we won't have that opportunity for laughs.

Right, there's just one single poster, one Islamophobe bogey-man, who is offended by your long record of lies, abuse and threats. Keep telling yourself that.

Actually, the most amusing irony is that there's lots of Muslims in my life, permanently so. There's no need to escape Muslims because most of them aren't like you, and alhamdullilah for that. You are an embarrassment to your religion.

I doubt you express your islamophobia to them because you're a coward. If you do, it means they put up with you out of necessity. Stop being a coward and let us know your identity. You won't. You know why? Because you know your views reflect, at best, bigotry. At worst, they are racist. Cowardly fool you are. Lol

Why would I need to identify myself? I harbor no hatred toward people of other faiths.

I am chuckling that you think most Muslims are not like me. I wrote for an Islamic publication here in the US. I was in contact with many well known scholars in this country and Canada. I will be seeking a job soon at an international firm that specializes in Islamic relations with nonMuslims. But, continue because your posts are at least amusing
