Awaiting ED decisions — how are you feeling?

I wish Instagram posting wasn't a thing. DD keeps telling me all the admitted posts she's seeing suddenly, with surely more to come this weekend. But she doesn't get to see any of the rejections so it seems like everyone's crushing it.

Yes, kids now post the results of their friend’s acceptances with a “congratulations!” I agree - demoralizing for those who are anxious. You have to have a spine of steel these days with special media.

Still waiting on ED but at least got a positive EA today. What a stressful time of year. Had 2 exams today.

DC just got into an EA w/merit. ED is next week.

Statistically, the ED will probably be a rejection/deferral, but that doesn't prevent DC from being excited from friends who are hearing good news this week.

Princeton is always the most brutal during ED ime

She came home and said she knows of two more PU admittees, but that’s still not many for our HS. Maybe some folks are lying low, or else it was just a bloodbath this year.

my kid likes to see everyone get in ED. helps his own chances RD. thins the herd!
