See, almond mom's? She had apples in there, a healthy option

The almond mom was correct. That's the takeaway.

NP. How so?

Why don’t you just tell me why the almond mom was correct, this thread is like 20 pages

Do your own homework, kiddo.

So…you’re just wrong. Got it 👍

Impossible. I was told on her that teen boys might eat half a dozen. They are growing and 1 or 2 would only be enough for a postmenopausal woman! As usual the loudest voice was wrong again.

1-2 is what you saw. I was once a teenage boy and always would sneak an extra one or two. Sadly, my metabolism no longer supports that.

OK. I thought they were running off in the cars on their caravan eating on the way. But sure, they circled back to eat more donuts on the sly. Or maybe they ate 1-2 as OP said.

Or they were using their manners as guests with their parents looking on. Having as many donuts as you may want, having as many donuts as you may need to satisfy physical hunger, and having donuts as a common treat to be shared in a group are 3 different things that don’t necessarily coincide.

The thread doesn’t say why you think almond mom is correct; only you can explain why you think what you think, idiot.

It’s just so sad you couldn't come back and gloat about how many dozens of donuts were eaten.

No shit. Which is why a lot of people said they wouldn’t be eating 3+ donuts. The question was answered appropriately about how many. The question at hand was never: how many donuts will people eat when they think nobody is looking.

Almond mom was incorrect.

20 items were purchased for 9 people.

2 teenage boys had 1-2 each.

Most probably had 1 item. There were probably a few left over. Nobody gorged or went hungry (or if they did, they stopped at a Sheetz on the way like a big grownup)

Juice was surprisingly enjoyed by all! I love juice but Almond Moms proclaim it to be worse than soda! 😈😈😈 Everyone survived. We guess, right OP?

Literally no one said that one teenage boy would eat a half dozen. An apple danish has twice the calories of a donut, so you served the equivalent of 30 donuts.

What I want to know, which OP probably can’t answer, is if the hotel guests stopped for breakfast sandwiches before or after donuts.

Also, OP your small children really just had donuts for breakfast with juice? I am not one to worry about calories for kids but I honestly think my kids would have thrown up after eating that and taking a long car ride.

Op here - FWIW they think maple syrup is too sweet and don’t like nor ever finish single pancakes (the don’t like waffles and French toast as well). They do like donuts and eat those just fine.

DH has been in search of more juice ever since Friday. I don’t keep juice around normally - selfishly it gives me heartburn. But the guests kept pouring late into the evening after we returned back to our home that night.

OP, consider serving Spanakopitas next time. Get 4 boxes at Costco or any other place where they carry them. They won’t load you with the garbage that donuts have.
I served Spanakopitas to my kids’ sport team while other parents provided donuts.

Here we go again. We already have a pretty good list of (ridiculous) alternatives, but I think spanakopitas are the new winner.

right? my boys count macros. Mine was home from college and I had to have lots of eggs and grilled chicken in hand. No way in hell would they eat a donut for breakfast. On the go we often so Anita’s breakfast burritos.

Pro tip: Cut all the donuts in half - that will stretch what you have.

Ewww, do not pre-mangle all the food. Tacky. Donuts are not like pizza or cake.
