House Republicans are screaming for funds for ICE and CBP saying they don't have funds. One Big Beautiful Bill Act last year gave ICE the equivalent of 7-8 years worth of funds, and CBP the equivalent of 3-4 years worth of funds. So why are the Republicans complaining those agencies aren't funded?
Did all that money disappear? Was all that money wasted? I expect congressional hearings on this. Why isn't the media questioning this? |

Leaked files reveal US ambassador Guilfoyle’s lavish Athens spending
https://www.turkiyetoday.com/world/leaked-files-reveal-us-ambassador-guilfoyles-lavish-athens-spending-3217391?s=1 Leaked documents have placed U.S. Ambassador to Greece Kimberly Guilfoyle under scrutiny, after reports pointed to costly upgrades at her official residence in Athens, including a basketball court and plans for a government-funded photographer. The claims have surfaced at a time when Guilfoyle already stands out in Athens for her high visibility, blending diplomacy with a social presence that has drawn both attention and criticism. A January profile by The New York Times described her as “the talk of Athens,” capturing both the attention she attracts and the unease surrounding her role. The latest reports add a financial dimension to that image, raising questions about public spending, priorities, and the optics of her tenure. According to the Daily Mail, Guilfoyle approved a plan in December to build a half-sized basketball court at Jefferson House, the U.S. ambassador’s residence in Athens’ Kolonaki district, at a cost of about €50,000 (around $58,000). Separate documents reviewed by the outlet also outline a proposed €25,000 annual contract for photography and videography services. |

Donald Trump’s administration this week acknowledged it made a significant error in figures it used to help justify a fraud probe into New York’s Medicaid program.
The error, one of at least a few misrepresentations in its description of the program, prompted health analysts to question how many of the Republican administration’s sweeping anti-fraud efforts around the country were based on faulty findings, AP reported. |
