What was the name of the "head shop" on Cordell across from Charlie Byrd guitar shop? The only thing I could afford in there were screens.

If Cameron listened to him, there would have been a lot more victories under his belt.

Played for Peters in 75 and then Cameron in 76 and 77 - what a difference. During a scrimmage once, a defensive tackle was tearing me apart. Coach Peters stopped the whole scrimmage, grabbed my facemask, walked me over to the guy, jammed us face to face, my facemask hitting the guy in his chest, and said "____________ (to me), this man is twice your size, but you have twice the heart." Never forgot that moment. Whenever things get tough, I lead with my heart. (FYI - the guy still beat up on me pretty badly the rest of the scrimmage but I was on top of the world.) Thank you Coach Peters!!!

I was just telling someone about that and how when Borders moved to White Flint, they had to reinforce the floors to hold the weight of the books. What was in the Borders space in the mall before it moved in?

In the same era, across the street was Fresh Fields, which moved farther up Rockville Pike and became Whole Foods.

Remember being happy I didn't get caught.

Oh God, I am old. And Howard Stern on DC101 and thinking this guy is going to be a star.

Jonny Depp on Jump street 21 also thinking he was going to be a star.

Smoking weed with a cop (I asked him to show me his badge) at the 1976 Bicentennial Beach boys concert, I was 12.
