The only local coach that the AD would agree to is Speaks and even that’s a long shot. Ideal candidate is an experienced coach from a boarding school

Dream team: current JV Coach, CJ Carpenter. Teamed with his Dad, who would have to leave Duke admissions.

CJ is very well liked and a good coach. Just young.

Hilarious. How’s that going to work? Who is going to do that? Danny Paro? With football about to start (which is his #1 priority.)?

Not being tied to or at a minimum acceptable to the Alumni base is a recipe for a short career at Prep. Ask Scott Urick.

They’ve tried committees before for hiring coaches and it the results were not good.
