Because everyone else knows he's demented. And that Elon is really in charge. |
Here is why the change happened.
And its a valid reason. https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2025/feb/17/kennedy-center-recent-history-showcasing-politiciz/ |
No. Not a valid reason. C'mon man, even Nixon knew better than this. Trump has lost his ability to make reasoned decisions. He's just senile now. |
You cited a propaganda rag there, bud. And real art always has been “political”. Any monkey can be trained to paint or to sing, even a MAGA. Real art creates and challenges. Wouldn’t expect you to understand that. |
+1 |
Trump was overheard to say, “Men in tights wearing butterfly wings and prancing on a stage is un-American. I’m going to put a stop to it. “
The Kennedy Center received $45 million last year from the Federal govt. This money is not to be used to promote perversion in the arts which is anything LGBT. Christians have not forgotten “Piss Christ”. Imagine someone doing a “Piss Mohammed”. That “artist” would soon be without a head. |
What is this word salad. I have news for you- pretty much every show you’ve ever seen has had gay people involved. This includes your kid’s elementary school Christmas pageant. Billy with the great voice and real spirit? Gay. Junie in the backstage crew? Also gay. They’ve been entertaining you with their gay agenda all along, teaching your kids it’s ok to be gay and not ok to be a jerk. And Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo are absolutely fabulous. Hilarious and incredibly talented. Real men aren’t threatened by these incredibly gifted artists and athletes. But you enjoy your Kid Rock rap/country whatever. It’s about as spicy as a plate of mashed potatoes. No one’s coming for it. But it’s not art. |
I'm hopeful for the Kennedy Center under new leadership. That place is a shithole run into the ground with lousy shows. Only can improve. |
So you've never been to the Kennedy Center? |
You can’t afford a show there, be honest. Not even a free one. |
Yeah, no way has she/he been there. Over the years, I have seen John Oliver, Phantom of the Opera, Hamilton, Dear EVan Hanson, DAvid Sedaris, a couple of operas. ANd so much more. It is a fantastic place. |
Are you a bot? Seriously asking. There are so many shows at the Kennedy Center that appeal to ALL. Such a variety of shows offered. Classical music, opera, ballet, broadway shows, etc... |
+1 OMG they are attacking & Juliet! WTAF! Honestly, I think it’s more because of the patriarchy and less because of the same sex relationship. Wait for them to trash Six and Suffs. Well, I won’t be going there. Let MAGA go. Too bad the felon got rid of his hotel— they could have paid $300 for the night and $200 for two tickets. A bargain! |
I guess it will be bread and circuses at the Kennedy Center!!! |
