they have beat some good teams but middle of the pack team is middle of the pack (cue surprised face).

Isn't DB supposed to be a pretty decent coach? Everything is spread so thin around here, so tough to find good coaching.

Problem is, Loudoun county parents are the worst. They all think their kid is the next Trinity Rodman. Coach RP is super passionate, but these soft kids (and parents) can’t handle it. It doesn’t take a genius to put two and two together and just look at all the year rosters, and compare the “troubled” years or players playing up and see who their daddy’s are. Board members, directors, coaches, staff…… they only care about THIER own kids and their kids team. It’s not looked on a broader spectrum. Coach NS was moving to Richmond, did they fire him before finishing out the season??? Possibly. But looks like he’s thriving at Richmond. 2010’s have gotten the shaft ever since coach NB. NVA seems to be a selfish club with a lot of politics involved. Luckily I’m one of the few parents that don’t think my kid is the greatest player ever, so I’m just happy theyre out there enjoying themselves.

add the 2011s to that group as well. RP had turned them around….. hope he didn’t quit. But if so…. Cant blame him he had an experience so far….

First time DCUMmer here. I absolutely love the gossip and bs on this. As a fellow NVA parent all I can say is that it seems like the coaches are trying their best. Are there politics and nepotism duh it’s so close to DC how could there not be. Can you imagine no nepotism and politics how would half these people have jobs? Just don’t complain when you finally get an amazing coach like NS bc like most good things they usually aren’t appreciated except in hindsight.

He quit the 08 team. In the middle of the season.

Spent the entire year swearing at them in whatever language he speaks, tearing them down, and yelling at them. Then allowed to walk away scratch free and coach another team. Just sad.

It all starts at the top for LS. When the ECNL director doesn't know what he's doing, the rest follow.
