There are a ton of nice shirt dresses this year though and she looks good in a shirt dress.

Or here's a navy one (if she wanted navy to complement his suit) that is a lot more expensive and a little out there, but I really like it and think it would look good on her:

The idea that you think these dresses look like "Real Housewife third marriage vow renewal" makes me really wonder about your fashion choices. The first one is a silk shirt dress -- it's not exactly a crazy sexy Real Housewife look! If you look at the people behind her in the picture, everyone else there is wearing basically a sundress. When you say "dressed in a manner that kept the focus on the graduates" does that mean covering her arms? Dressing like she's going to court? I think when you show up in something that is dramatically different from what everyone else at an event is wearing, that draws MORE attention, not less.

Didn’t her mom-who was very close to her grandson- pass away? She’s probably still in mourning and her son’s grad bittersweet as she wishes her mother were with them.

It’s an outdoor ceremony in the sun. Lots of people were wearing hats.
