We got there at 5pm with elem school girls. Got in line for merchandise, which took 20 minutes...but the girls traded friendship bracelets the enter time. Then spent time walking around (they traded more bracelets), hit the bathrooms, got water and got to our seats right at 6:30. They didn't really care about the opening acts. In retrospect that's time to wait in lines. But they had a great time beforehand anyway. The crowd is really lovely. Meanwhile that WSJ article made me tear up. So true-- it's the Wonka ticket for their generation, and being there to experience it with her was amazing. |
You do not need binoculars. lol There isn't a bad view in the place since majority of the show is performed on the diamond part of the stage. There are also 3 jumbo screens if you need help seeing her outfits.
Don't waste any time outside of the venue in LOOONG lines for merchandise. Go inside the stadium, the line is significantly shorter (10 minutes for us and we arrived at 630pm) and we got what we wanted. There are multiple merchandise locations inside the stadium. If you don't care for the opening acts, use that time to use the restroom and buy drinks/food/take pics. Enjoy! |
My kids have been waiting for merchandise for over 30 mins and still have a long way to go, and they are inside. |
How does the queue work? Do you just go to the Ticketmaster website at all times? Do you need verified fan? |
Don't miss the show! Merchandise is also open after the show. |
Better to load on a computer and refresh, yes. You don't need to be a verified fan. |
Thanks! I didn't realize that the ticket drops were actually a real thing. Any idea what times they usually drop? I figured I'd at least try for Pittsburgh. |
For the Philly show - I got a code the next day for 1 day only 15% off merch. from her site |
While I understand wanting to buy at the gene, isn’t the same merchandise on sale online on her site? |
Does anyone know if everyone gets 15% of merch for one day after the show they attend? |
Ok, they got their merch. I’m currently standing outside the main gate with 1000 of my new friends who are all singing like crazy and watching a TON of people stream out of the show for the last 40 mins since I’ve been here. |
You don’t get it sent to you or anything, but they do set one up. I believe they usually follow a particular format: https://www.reddit.com/r/SwiftieMerch/comments/13g3c35/merch_code_for_philly/ |
No! There are certain items that are only sold at the shows. Most notably the infamous blue crewneck, but also the tote bag and some other items. And at the most recent show, a special edition CD. |
Technically maybe. But in my experience everything desirable was sold out well before she got to the stage, much less after the show. And actually, I don’t recall seeing any merch stands open after my show. |
DDs got 2 sweatshirts and a poster during Evermore portion of the show, said a lot of things were gone or picked over but they were happy. |
