We recently moved and now have access to our outdoor community pool that has lap swim times I can use. I've always been interested in lap swimming since I love the water and know it's good exercise, but I although I'm comfortable in the water, I don't know any strokes besides freestyle and even that I have terrible form. I always end up drifting and running into the ropes. I'd hoped the FFX county park district might have some lap swim classes, but they seem to only offer beginner basics (like treading water, floating, etc.) for adults.
Anyone have any ideas of where I could get lessons or if there's a way to figure it out on my own? |
| I asked my daughters swim coach to help me. I just paid her for private lessons. |
| Yes, I would take private lessons at the pool you already belong to. |
