Palin Gets Pranked

This is hilarious. Two Canadian radio comedians tricked Sarah Palin into thinking she was talking to French Prime Minister Sarkozy. She was totally star-struck. "Sarkozy" tells her he likes to hunt and that killing animals is fun and also says he liked the documentary of her life, "Naylin Palin" (actually a porn film).

ANyhow, I'm not a fan of prank phone calls. I prefer people to look stupid talking to real people.

If it was her.. she has no political skills whatsoever, not to realize this wasn't the president of France talking. Who calls someone up on the phone 3 days before an election, and talks like that to them? "Let's go hunting and shoot stuff from helicopters! I like to kill things"???

There must be a way to make sure a call is the real thing before wasting your time on it. Maybe no one is calling her anymore -- that should be a clue.

why is this mean. Had this been real, I would have been embarrassed for my country to have such a goofy vice-president. Really, she did awful.

She was trying to be polite. I thought that she sounded a bit uncomfortable with this whoever, and she might have been suspicious, but she tried to keep it neutral.

Polite doesn't cut it. As a politician (and I use that term loosely), it's her duty to diplomatically clear up any inaccuracies, but apparently she's not savvy enough.

Seriously, who the freak in their right mind would believe that was a world leader on the phone? And it didn't even sound like a real French accent (Quebecois French is completely different sounding but I'm sure she wouldn't know that). The things he was saying were absurd. Even if she couldn't understand all of his accent, she must have understood some of the inappropriate stuff.

It is funny that the title of the fake song Carla supposedly wrote for her was called "Lipstick on a Pig." And she laughed like she got it!
