I am trying to lose weight and I have to find healthy low calorie snacks.
Thank you! |
| Cottage cheese and mandarin oranges. |
| Toasted seaweed from Costco. |
| air popped popcorn. very low cal, filling and good fiber. |
| Not filling |
|
raw bell peppers -- I like green best
celery carrots |
| Half-sour pickles from union market, Wasa rye crisps with hummus - they look like disgusting cardboard but with a "wet" spread they are filling and crunchy. Cottage cheese + hot sauce, caffiene free herbal tea, quick pickles carrots and radishes - just google quick pickle for recipes. Strawberries, blueberries. |
| an apple. I find apples to be more satisfying than say a 100 calorie pack. |
|
6 bowls of sugar free jello.
Just kidding. How about veggies and cottage cheese/salsa dip, frozen grapes, wasa crackers and laughing cow, or a cup of coffee and angel food cake? |
|
String cheese and V8 Juice
Swiss cheese and sliced turkey or ham wrapped around dill pickle and dipped in mustard. Nuts |
|
Thanks everyone!
I love frozen grapes and I was wondering if I could freeze sliced mangoes? |
|
Raspberries
Pretzel sticks |
|
Chobani yogurt
a large apple (I'll sprinkle cinnamon sugar on each slice, if I'm really wanting something sweet) carrots with salsa cucumber slices with hummus string cheese and WASA (if you go to their website, you'll see great ideas) homemade vegetable soup |
Cheaper and easier to just buy a bag of frozen mango. |
|
Grapes are one of my favorites (not frozen)
If you've never tried Honeycrisp apples, they are fantastic And I also like bell peppers, but unlike the PP, I love red ones. Lipton Chicken Noodle Cup-a-Soup is only 61 calories for one cup. Kix cereal is only 90 calories for 1 cup. I get it for the kids, but I'll often snack on it. |
