Where is DCRTV on all of this? Bring us the scoop!

I was wondering that, too!

Instead, dcrtv has this headline on their website:

"Emotional Kane Talks Divorce On 99.5 - 2/22 - Hot 99.5 morning man Kane apparently got emotional this morning when talking about his divorce. Lots of reaction at dcurbanmom.com..."

Nothing like that happened today.

Haha, they don't realize this discussion has been going on since July!

The fact that DCRTV didn't even look at the link makes me question everything they post!

Wow! Me, too. Dave -- get with it.

Looks like the headline was removed now.

DCRTV Dave just re-posts links to stuff he finds in the paper or on a website. Or rumors fed to him by the mailbag. No real investigative reporting going on there.

Just amazing that Kane announced his divorce almost 7 months ago, and today was the first day it got any mention on a site supposedly covering DC radio and television news. And while Kane is not any A list celebrity, he does pull pretty strong ratings in DC.

Well, I suppose that having reruns with Danni in it this morning is somewhat telling... I would imagine that if they were fairly certain she wasn't coming back, they would have had (guessing Erik does it) create a new reel of reruns out of the material from last week that did NOT include Danni. I imagine that they always have to have some on deck in case of an emergency, and if Danni is ever officially gone, there is no way they will use rerun material that still has her in it.

(Same person here)

But at the same time it is telling that they just went to reruns in the middle of the show... the last time that happened, someone didn't come back!

Hmm. That's a good point I hadn't considered. This whole thing is so wacky.

Yea, I thought the reruns this morning was to possibly trick people in to thinking she was back as some people on the visitor section of the Kane Show Facebook page responded to other Posts saying she was on the show today. It also appeared to be that they were not posting new articles to their Facebook page as I remember last year before Kane announced the divorce nearly every new article they posted on Facebook had multiple comments with questions about Natasha, which spurned additional conversation and ultimately forced his hand a bit.

Not that people can't post comments about Danni on older articles or in the visitor posts sections, but I think those are less likely viewed than when they post new articles and people start posting questions about the whereabouts of Danni causing other listeners to further the conversation front and center.

Understood, but it's still bad form not to have at least clicked on the link before posting it.

DANNI IS GONE?

This whole thing is just wackadoodle. The Kane Show sounds like a very messy and unstable place to work.

I feel like they included the old clip with her to keep people from asking about her so much while they figure out what to do with her.

"In Maryland, employees work "at the will" of their employers. This means, in the absence of an express contract, agreement or policy to the contrary, an employee may be hired or fired for almost any reason -- whether fair or not -- or for no reason at all."

She would've had to break her contract somehow or she can sue for $$$.

The morning show on 99.5 before Kane was the hot morning mess with Mark and Kris. Maybe they should go back to that name.

Even if Danni was let go, I know in the past, when Flounder got let go from Elliot's show on DC101, they played best-of bits featuring him.
