can we form a "gardening and lawn" forum?

At the risk of makng more work for the DCUM admins/founders, might there be an interest in a gardening forum?

It would be great to share tips on these things. So many people with info out there.

Why can't those questions be here, as they have been?

OP here- I think something devoted just to gardening would inspire sharing about more aspects.

Also, growing vegetables, for example, is not really a home improvement.

I'd love a garden forum here!

I would too.

Problem is the forum would be active only for part of the year.

I would love it, and I think it would be active all year around (I tend to do my planning in the fall and winter)

I would like it, too.

Yes, please!

What topics would you raise? For instance, we moved into a new home. My topics; yard design, container and raised bed gardening (tips), dealing with compacted soil, to name a few. BTW, it could go year around; there are always winter tasks!

Doubt there would be much traffic. Just post in off topic.

Then some knowledgable folks can tell me what these weird white bugs are that are crawling on my newly planted laurel bushes. I am a gardening novice but a forum would be great!
