Poor Madison can’t score on good teams. They play in preseason and it was 10-1 or something

Didn’t Indy scored about 8 of these goals with their starters against Madison’s jv players.

Repeating that line or were you there? . If you were there you’re a Madison parent and biased. Hmmm

Im not pro Indy or anti Madison but excuses are excuses, Indy (unfortunately) is the team to beat this year.

Indy would beat Madison by 5+

SB/Battlefield seemed to play Indy tough for a half but ran out of gas. Indy pressure is relentless and weighs on you it seems.

If they play that would be a good game. What is the Indy play style? I haven’t seen them or Robo this year, just have seen scores and they look pretty comparable offensively and defensively

Seen them on stream and not live, but what style do you want them to play? They look like the most complete team. You don’t want to run with them, as they are fast and will win a track meet. If you play a 6v6 slow game they will pick you apart. Most of their goals I have seen that way have been in the 5-10yd range, they work a team O and don’t rely on 1v1 dodge, and not the 15-20yd prayers most kids try to hit.
They seem to have 2 mids who are huge, like 6’4+. Poles are big, not huge, but they are nasty and have seen more pole goals from them in a game than most teams have in a season.
It’s really pick your poison, run with them and lose a track meet, slow it down and they pick you apart. You can’t just lock off 1 kid as all of them can step up and score and seem to play position less roles

Sorry, this would be Indy
Robo seems to play a slower methodical game. Things ran through 8 but not exclusively, on O. Their D is very solid and tough to get around. FO game is strong too.
Have not seen them as as Indy and the games I saw were lopsided.
Robo is solid but not flashy/ spectacular just seem to grind you down.

Yes, it was 2-1 Indy at the half - I'm not sure how noting the score makes someone biased but whatever - and Madison played its deep bench and JV call-up guys the whole second half, but it was also at least a couple months ago and before the season even started, so I'm not sure how accurate a reflection of the current situation it would be even if Madison had played its starters all game.

But both teams have a long way to go before they might even play again, with some very good teams between here and there - BF, Robo/Yorktown, etc. - so it seems premature to speculate on that matchup anyway.

Patriot District Championship is tonight between WP and Robinson. Occoquan Regional Tournament starts Wednesday but both WP and Robinson get a bye to the Regional Quarterfinals on Friday for being the 1 and 2 seeds.

Concorde District Title between Madison and Oakton Tuesday followed by Liberty District Title between Yorktown and Langley Wednesday. How does seeding work in the Northern Region?

I don’t think Yorktown can beat Madison - but I guess we’ll see shortly (assuming the rest of these predictions play out)

If the two 1 seeds meet in the finals, where would the game be played?

If the bracket provided above is accurate? Then Concorde #1 would host.

I heard Woodring is in the running at UVA for next Head Coach.

Despite Robinson and WP being the 1 and 2 seeds I still think Lake Braddock has a good shot to win the region, their Robo game was a "dawg" fight until Robo pulled away with a couple of lucky ones. They also have the best defender in the district, who can single-handedly shut down any offense in the state.

Which of the 10 goals that separated the two teams in that 14-4 score were the lucky ones?
