How much do you spend a month for infant daycare in PG County?

I'm trying to get an idea of the average cost. And it seems most of the posts I find with daycare costs are in DC or MC or VA.
No need to name the facility, just the age of your baby and the monthly cost (for full time daycare) and perhaps if it is a center or an in-home provider. I figured the daycare forum was more appropriate than the PG Schools forum. Thank you. |

| Our 6 month old is in a center in PG, and we pay $315/week. We found home daycares that charge $200-$250/week, but went with the center because it just felt like the right fit for us overall. |

| We are in a center and pay $1444 per child per month. I have a coworker who pays $250 per week for an in-home daycare. When we were checking in late 2011, the rates that we found for 5 centers in the area ranged from $26K-$33K per year for 2 children. The lower end had sibling discounts, so it was more like $14-16K per year per child. All were in PG county (we live and work in northern PG County). |

| We're on the border of PG and NE DC. We looked at a couple of centers (Heritage and St. Ann's) in Hyattsville that were about $225-250 a week for infants (this was about a year and a half ago). We ended up at a licenced home daycare in NE DC for $250 a week. Heritage and St. Ann's seemed nice if you're in that area. |

| I'm at Heritage in Hyattsville, and I paid $500 every 2 weeks for infant care. I currently pay $735 every 2 weeks for 2 year old room.. We love it there. I think St. Ann's is about the same price. This is pretty much the cheapest we found in the area. |

9:17 here. We would have been able to get a spot at Heritage when we needed it last year, and a spot at St. Ann's opened up about a month after we would have needed it. I think you'll still want to hedge your bets, but no need to drive youself crazy.
