What are your favorite kitchen appliances?

I can't leave without my rice cooker (which I use mostly to cook beef and chicken ) - http://www.amazon.com/Panasonic-SR-DE103-5-Cup-Uncooked-Cooker/dp/B004SKTTHI/ref=sr_1_16?s=appliances&ie=UTF8&qid=1368806163&sr=1-16&keywords=rice+cooker . I use it 4-4 times during the week.
Use my blender every morning for making fruit smoothies. (Only in summer though)
Bought last week a panini press, and playing with it every day now - mostly doing wraps for my husband's breakfast, and kids' lunches.

Microwave and dishwasher (sadly don't have the second one).

Besides the dishwasher (I was thinking you meant small appliances), my favorites are the toaster oven, food processor & Keurig.

OP here. Could you please recommend your food processor? I am thinking of buying one.

OP here. And sorry I forgot to mention my Nespresso machine! Use it everyday. On Friday nights (when we have people around) even more.

We have an ice maker in our lower level bar, and it just makes the best ice. I know it sounds silly, but I love good ice that is small cubes like in a bar or restaurant.

We got a vitamix recently. I was really surprised to love it (hadn't asked for it). But my food processor would still be the one thing I can't give up (PP, we have two but the one I love is an ancient work horse of a machine we inherited).

Not PP, but I would suggest a KitchenAid 12 cup food processor

Love my keurig, immersion blender, toaster oven & kitchen aid mixer.

Tell me all the great things about a Vitamix because I just can't justify the expense. What's the difference between it and a Blendtec?

Juicer & nespresso. I'd be fine with a kitchen that just contained those two items.
