2012s finished GA season with 8 wins, 8 losses, and 3 draws, and 2011s finished with 8 wins, 7 losses, and 4 draws. Both teams were 7th of 14 in the conference. Very solid first season in GA, but was it enough to keep top players and attract new players to upgrade the bottom of the squad?

The four older teams are not quite done yet.

Really BaDDDDD... CZ went ahead and played his favorites again, and it totally tanked the team’s game. One player spends way too much time on the field and keeps starting in a key position. Another was randomly tossed into the lineup, leaving everyone scratching their heads. Then there’s the favorite who stayed out there the entire game, constantly taking way too many shots. CZ and ED have sure done some harm to this team. Where was NE when all this was happenin?

Both teams are middle of the table at U13 and U14. You sound like an overzealous parent.

CZ has never cared about winning games before U15. If you don’t like that, feel free to watch your DD sit the bench at VDA or Union. That’s just how he is. Been there done that but all of his older seem to win. The 08s, 07s, 06s, 05s at FCV were all contenders for National Championships but early on BP and CZ didn’t try to win and would often do the exact same thing you mentioned. The 08s and 07s were torn apart when BP and CZ left. The 09s managed to stay together so we’ll see how they do this year.

Just remember, U16 and U17 are the most important years.

I’ve known CZ and his teams for ovet 10 years. Can’t speak on NE. ED is a douche and Marvin seems like the type that doesn’t want to win either and tries to get everyone playing time.

I stand by what I said. I secretly wish VRSC would replace ED. There are much better coaches out there they could replace him with.

How much credit do actually give CZ? Traditionally FCV got better with the outside players that came in and not because of the players they "developed". Maybe thats why he is "better" with older teams???

What do you make of Christian and Marvin each having two GA teams and co-coaching a third, with ED being an assistant coach for the three youngest teams? How will they allocate their time?

Both teams could have done better if the coaches made better decisions and stopped playing their favorites.

This is why we declined an offer for top GA team because of this level of clowning. NE is garbage as coach and worse as a person. Save yourself that misery. It’s bad enough with with countryman yapping the same instructions from his beach chair. Go ahead mod and delete this too

Can someone explain this obsession with homegrown teams that only applies to VRSC? No club has homegrown teams.

Don’t know about 2015s but there definitely are a lot of former FCV players on the 2013 and 2014 black teams. However, I believe those teams have more legacy VRSC players than any of the GA teams have.
