But is t this the point (playoffs) that they CHOKE? |
Not that I'm picking a side, but you're not saying what you think you are. Yorktown playing a btb means they are tired on day two, so you'd expect them to be worse not the same as they were the day before. |
| if Herndon beats Yorktown it might be the biggest upset of the decade. Wasn't it 16-3 just a few weeks ago? |
| Herndon Yorktown score? |
| Madison 6-1 Westfield |
this aged very well |
|
Yorktown 18 Herndon 7
Langley 12 McLean 2 (Someone fact check Langley McLean, not 100% sure) |
| OAKTON 13 – Chantilly 8 |
| If Langley won 12-2 at McLean, that is noteworthy. |
| Herndon played well early, forced Ytown into some turnovers, was effective on offense in first half. But once #3 got the ball a bit more, not much they could do. He either scored or assisted on most every possession he had in the second half. He may have outscored Herndon on his own. Would be a pretty even matchup without him on the field. |
It's on Laxnumbers and Maxpreps. |
Awesome news for Langley, now they can’t be accused of choking, as they are by far the underdog going forward. Congrats guys, it will just be a normal loss from here on out. |
I counted 8 and 5 for the kid |

YT Herndon was close until the absolutely ridiculous dodge from X for the no look overhead behind the back shot and score followed up by the 25yd heater from top of the box
Legit |
| Of course he is. He’s a Big10 commit playing in a public high school league against kids that, mostly, couldn’t make a club team. He’s terrific. His willingness to pass is what separates him. |
