| Not the carrot cake cheesecake but the slice of actual cake. Where are the majority of the calories coming from? the icing or the cake itself? |
|
You thought it counted as a vegetable?
Never actually encountered it, but I'm guessing (1) It's huge, and (2) Tons of fat and sugar - carrot cake itself has lots of fat, plus cream cheese frosting! |
| Look up a recipe - carrot cake is usually made with oil. cream cheese frosting is sugar, butter and cream cheese. And it's probably one of the enormous 4-5 layer things with lots of frosting. |
Sounds delicious! |
| It's probably literally the size of 4-5 normal portions. |
| It's a huge piece of cake. It's like 10 layers. |
| Cheesecake Factory exists purely to fatten up and kill suburbanites. |
Try the red velvet5 cheesecake
|
| Because its enormous. It's loaded with oil, nuts and cream cheese frosting. |
| yum |
| OP here, no I didn't think it was a vegetable. I was just trying to figure out how its possible for one slice of cake to have so many calories. I was surprised. I think I was expecting 500-900 at a max. |
| Op again. Has anyone encountered a dessert serving with more calories than this? |
| Well, I think I've seen slices of cake at CF and they're typically the size of 3 or 4 regular pieces of cake. |
I bet you are fat. There is absolutely no way a piece of restaurant cake would be under 1000 calories! 500 is ridiculous. |
| 21:11 That was a bit harsh.... |
