Yes. That is about average for a restaurant portion. That is why you should never eat one by yourself! |
True, but it sounds like Op needs a wake up call. |
| 21:11 I'll bet you are anorexic and have dry, wrinkly skin. |
| Nope, not at all. And, I eat cake. But I do it consciously. |
There's only one here that's more than that, and it's designed for sharing: http://eatthis.menshealth.com/slideshow/slideshow-15-worst-desserts |
What is wrong with you? She just asked a totally innocent question and you called her fat for no reason. You, pp, are one of the people that make this forum way more mean-spirited than it needs to be. |
DAMN!!! That slides how is deadly! |
Consciously??
|
| OP- I am with you. I love that cake and have rarely shared it, I am quite thin and otherwise eat quite healthy. |
Here's an FYI for you, having been very overweight at one point in my adult life. A fat person WOULD NOT CARE. |
| OP, I agree. How on earth can desserts be that many calories! One of those desserts is my intake for the entire day. It is just disgusting. |
|
How about we quit the fat shaming stuff? PP, fat people care very much that the food they eat makes them fat. And original "bet you are fat" poster, mean is worse than fat, don't you think?
Part of what needs to happen to make it so that a piece of cake isn't 1500 calories is that everyone knows what the calorie counts are on things. A little bit of Cheesecake Factory shaming would be great. Shaming people does no one any good. |
On the contrary, societies that consider being fat very shameful - like the japanese - have very low rates of obesity. In cultures in the US where fat is accepted, obesity is much higher. Shaming works. |
You think shaming works better for corporations than for people? Fat does not seem to be your biggest issue. |
