Can we PLEASE get a dedicated subforum for this topic? I know the admin said they would consider it if there was enough demand. Please reply to this if you'd like a dedicated subforum for conversations focused on the AAP program.

I am interested in it and think a dedicated subforum is a fabulous idea.

Agree. I know it seems weird because it is only one part of only one VA district, but if I was a FCPS parent who didn't want to talk about AAP, I would be frustrated. For those of us (like myself) who aren't even in FCPS but in VA, it's even more frustrating.
Jeff made a PG County forum. I think the same rationale that led to that forum being created applies to this one.

I think a Fairfax County forum sounds like a great idea.

The best schools in Fairfax thread just turned into an AAP debate. So that's 9 out of 10.....

Move the AAP threads out of here!

I am in Arlington and this AAP crap bugs the living shit out of me. Yes- Alexandria and Arlington are dwarfed by the sheer size of Fairfax--but so are the people in Fairfax who don't give a rat's ass about AAP.

When I first found this website, I knew nothing about AAP. Thanks to the posts here, I was able to learn about it and get very helpful information. My child is now in AAP, and this forum assisted me through the process and continues to do so.

Not sure I would have found a separate forum and that would have been too bad.
