Imagine if your literal freedom depended on staying away from Mike Lindell’s bullshit and you still couldn’t do it.

I posted this to a thread that was about quack covid remedies and about the unvaccinated pandemic surge. But seems appropriate here too.

“Stupidity is a more dangerous enemy of the good than malice. One may protest against evil; it can be exposed and, if need be, prevented by use of force. Evil always carries within itself the germ of its own subversion in that it leaves behind in human beings at least a sense of unease. Against stupidity we are defenseless. Neither protests nor the use of force accomplish anything here; reasons fall on deaf ears; facts that contradict one’s prejudgment simply need not be believed – in such moments the stupid person even becomes critical – and when facts are irrefutable they are just pushed aside as inconsequential, as incidental. In all this the stupid person, in contrast to the malicious one, is utterly self satisfied and, being easily irritated, becomes dangerous by going on the attack. For that reason, greater caution is called for when dealing with a stupid person than with a malicious one. Never again will we try to persuade the stupid person with reasons, for it is senseless and dangerous.”

Imagine a country where you are told what you can and can't watch, and what you can and can't think.

He violated the terms of his release to stay off the Internet. This is a pretty common term of release or probation for radicalized individuals and hackers.

This moron just HAD to get on the Internet to consume more garbage.

You probably complain about no cash bail, though. If a judge gives you conditional release, you follow those conditions.

He should be in jail, where there aren't a lot of options. Instead he was given home release with conditions. He broke those conditions.

I mean, seriously, do you not get this?

It’s when you act and he acted.

Imagine a country where some stupid people fall down the rabbit hole of conspiracy theories and try to over turn an election result, they break into the building where the results are being finalized, and some cops are attacked and a few die.

OH, wait, we don't have to imgaine that.
