Final election evaluation

Since there is some difference of opinion about what might have been if Frumin (or Silverman) had withdrawn, let's get an idea of where the votes would have gone. And while we're at it, to get a better in-depth idea of the DCUM state of mind, could we have a ranked poll of DC voters' preferences?

To start things off, here are mine: Silverman, Frumin, Redd.

Frumin, Silverman, Mara

I echo Jeff - my preference was Frumin, Silverman, Mara.

I decided to vote for my preference, instead of trying to vote so that one of them would win - if I had chosen the latter, I would have switched my vote to Silverman.

BTW, speaking of Mara (third choice of two thirds of the massive sample above), someone suggested a rather obvious explanation for the vocal support of Romney that bothered a lot of us: He was angling for a job in the Romney administration.

Silverman, Frumin, then IDK, maybe Redd or the weed guy.

Frumin, then Silverman.

Redd wasn't a serious Green Party candidate; his positions on key issues were idiosyncratic and not at all consistent with the Green Party.

Weed Guy: if all he wanted to do was stir up controversy, he should have picked a controversial issue. How about next time he runs as an evangelical atheist (ha ha)? That would at least make for some fun debates.

Mara: overgrown frat boy and everyone knows it. And he's starting to look like perennial candidate Vincent Orange: just run for everything till you win one! Was there ever a satisfactory explanation for why he wouldn't release his tax returns or name his clients as a consultant? And how do you accrue enough cash selling Republican memorabilia on ebay to buy a house in one of the country's priciest real estate markets?

Bond: the automaton corporate candidate. Big surprise.

OMG, there is just no freaking way I would ever vote for Mara. I would vote for weed man than Mara!

Silverman, Frumin, anyone but Mara.

Voted for Frumin. Second Mara, Third Zuckerberg. I would not support Silverman, and would vote for Bonds or Bonds II over Silverman in the future.
