BTW, I'm not a lawyer or a work in politics. I work in IT, and even I understand that police investigations don't ever publicize witness testimony during an active investigation. That's why they frown on leakers.

An impeachment inquiry is equivalent to a grand jury indictment, not a police interview. Grand jury investigations are held in secret and the witnesses aren't allowed a lawyer in the room. The accused does not get an opportunity to cross-examine the witnesses.

That is delusional. They will come out when the investigation is complete, as is appropriate. Trump admitted the narrative. Giuliani admitted the narrative. Sondland admitted the narrative. Volker produced the receipts. Yovanovitch, Hill, and Taylor are rock-solid witnesses to the extortion scheme. How is all of that not obvious?

After yesterday’s circus, Schiff is probably even more sensitive to protecting witnesses from intimidation by keeping the initial depositions in a controlled environment.

Funny - I have heard reports that they are considering making these public due to the public backlash.
When you attempt to invalidate the votes of over 60 million American citizens, you best be prepared to be transparent about it.

It's quite an assumption that all 60M voters are ok with him breaking the law and wouldn't reconsider their votes based on that.
