Hilaria Baldwin - At it again

I'm just surprised no one here went to Newton North (or whatever suburban MA high school she went to) with her. And if they did, how can she think claiming to be Spanish will work when alive people went to school with her from K-12?

I knew Hillary a bit back when she was just a yoga instructor living in Brooklyn. Her roommate, Renee, was a friend of a friend and she sort of hung out with my crowd some because of an NYU connection. Hillary was a reasonably nice total airhead looking to land a rich guy. She was into the yoga/holistic health-ish lifestyle even then, so I think that part is legit.

She definitely did not speak with a Spanish accent, but she did sort of identify as part Spanish. (It came up in the context of her talking about competing in Latin ballroom dancing.) At the time she said she spent her summers growing up in Spain; her parents owned the house that they now live in (and I actually think it may have been her mom's childhood home or at least near where her grandparents on that side lived) and they did really spend considerable time there, so that's probably why she sounds like a native speaker. I think it's true that she was born when her parents were "on vacation" there, but I think it was like a year long sabbatical kind of thing... where they intentionally had her near her mom's parents, not like a week long cruise.

Literally describes 99% of women, so why is this a takedown throughout this thread? Because she was successful in bagging a charming multi-millionaire A lister and you all married boring middle class schmucks?

Played? Played is a brief marriage. He's 61 yo man making multiple babies and having a lot of sex with a gorgeous energetic 35 yo yoga instructor. Safe bet he's happy as hell.

I think Alec is a very happy man with a beautiful growing family and a very fit yoga wife to have lots of sex with (however annoying and attention we think she is). It's a true win/win for them both. He's her "Mr Big" and she's far cuter than that horse-faced yenta from SATC.

I married someone wealthier and more successful than Alec and I'm far better educated and more successful than Hilaria. So you're wrong on all counts. I think she bothers people for the same reason she bothers me ... she's a liar. It's sad that 99% of your reference group is like her, but that's on you.

So her grandparents are Spanish?

Her grandparents definitely lived in Spain and her mom grew up there. I believe that her grandfather (mom’s dad) was originally from the UK and her grandmother was Spanish.

I love this thread. It confirms everything I thought about Alec "little pig" Baldwin (who blames his ex for his outburst -- hey, buddy, you weren't fed a script for once). Hilaria seems physically and mentally ill which is sad. And, no, she's no more Spanish than I am (my grandparents lived there and we visited there.....doesn't make me a Spaniard).
