Did everyone see the videos of him harassing his ex wife via helicopter? She would be outside with their child and he would do everything he could to harass her. His kid was hysterical as Alex filmed from the helicopter laughing. He has no redeeming qualities.

In profiles you can read of him, ever since he was little, he's had an inexhaustible source of aggression and retaliates in violent ways against anyone who crosses him (physically as well as verbally), well beyond the point where the pugilistic code requires you to stop. At the same time, I'm sure he's capable of charming some women and making them believe he's a normal, caring guy - hence the marriages. I don't blame his wives: he probably deliberately targeted naive ones.

I refer you to this explanation from the Sandy Hook famillies' lawyer about what's next - was posted on previous page. In short, they aren't going to bother with the Texas appellate courts and are going for the jugular in bankruptcy. In TL : DR, there's an argument in TX law circles that the punitive damages cap law violates the Texas Constitution, so there was some thought that Bankston (SH lawyer) would take that argument up through the TX appellate courts.

Sandy Hook victims’ families asked a federal bankruptcy court on Thursday to order the Infowars conspiracy broadcaster Alex Jones to relinquish control over his company, saying he has “systematically transferred millions of dollars” to himself and his relatives while claiming to be broke.

In a filing in the bankruptcy court in Houston, the families of nine Sandy Hook victims said they sought to have a bankruptcy trustee who is already monitoring the case take control of Free Speech Systems, the parent company of Mr. Jones’s misinformation-peddling media outlet. The families are also seeking a court-appointed oversight committee to restrict Mr. Jones’s ability to control Infowars’s finances.
