This is partly why 107.3 with Sarah, Ty and Mel s getting an audience. People got tired of the fakeness Kane brings. Sure, sometimes topics may overlap, but that can happen with any radio show in any market.

They were talking about a study that showed something like 40% of women who cheat don't feel bad about it. Danni was agreeing saying if she tried to do everything and wasn't getting what she wanted, she would cheat and not feel bad. Kane and IJ disagreed with Kane a little more vocal about it.

When Danni said that you could love someone and still cheat on them Kane got mad and cut her off. She said something go like "wow you cut me off I was talking" or something like that and he pretended he didn't know. I'm appalled by how "pro-cheating" Danni seems to be...get a divorce if you're not happy, cheating makes you a despicable person IMO and deserving of all the hate you seem to be getting from people. As someone that touts feminism and being a mom so much, you would think she would know better. But I guess that is the message she wants to send to her daughters when they are older--> if you aren't getting enough sex from your husband, go find somebody else to screw on the side? Sometimes I really just don't get the rubbish that comes out of her mouth. Would she be ok if Slim was cheating on her, or promoting that behavior to people around him? Doubt it...

That was actually one of the things Kane and John were saying -- that if a man were to say the same thing, people wouldn't be like, "Oh, well, it's understandable if you aren't getting what you need." They'd eviscerate the men. Definite double standard between the sexes on that one, imo.

It's cultural. If you're raised in a culture that isn't appalled by teen parents, baby daddies/mamas, kids by multiple fathers, etc. then of course you will tolerate cheating. It's not her fault...she was born that way.

And Kane's false sanctimony was precious! I bet Natasha's head exploded when she heard that segment.

Bottom line: that show is on a downward spiral. You can hear it in their flat tones and whiny exchanges. It's not upbeat anymore. STM are a million times more upbeat, silly and fun. I flip between STM and Elliott, and spend more time with Elliott.

Same here-I stopped listening shortly after Kane's announcement. I'll check in once in awhile when EITM is doing commercials, but have stayed away. I just don't see the appeal any more. It's sad since I used to enjoy listening. After learning of the fakeness of the show and just hearing the personalities not meshing-I'm done.

I agree with this 100%. I actually can tolerate Danni but this is really annoying about her. Why is she so Pro cheating? Did she ever say that Slim cheated on her before? Danni is the type of person that will cheat if you cheat. Two wrongs make a right type of thinking.

I can't stand ETIM. There's only a few local choices, but I can't stand Elliot's voice or Sarah and Mel's catiness. Until there's a better local morning show (not likely to happen), I'll stick with TKS....even though I'd like to bite Danni's over-inflated head off lol

She has made comments that he messed up in the beginning. Not sure when in their relationship (as in beginning of marriage or start of dating) but she has always justified her trust issues because he did something. If she went into details I don't remember them. IMO if you have forgiven the person and stayed with them, you have to move on. It's not fair to anyone, and it should not be brought up again.

I feel like john has the most moral compass of the show. Yeah he makes inappropriate comments but they're usually true. And he seems to treat laura very kindly. I think he calls danni and Kane out on their bullcrap. Very subtly.
