I remember this happening to me when I was a kid in the rural south. I would play outside without shoes on all summer long and we had lots of strays hanging around. I remember it being gross.

After reading this entire thread and doing some additional googling, I am going to take the OTC pinworm medication, just in case! I am so tired, so often, and what if I have just been infested with parasites for the last ten years?

DD had pinworms and yes they were visible in the toilet.

Not everything stringy in worms. Fiber can pass through undigested, especially banana and some stringy veg. It will look like worms but it isn’t.

Any updates from PP's who have tried the any of the amazon medications? Did they work? I'm hearing more and more about the effects of parasites and how some people attribute them to cancer etc. I'm not sure what to think at this point but I want to get rid of them if I have them!
