If the Reese's over the counter stuff doesn't work - and it didn't for my daughter and myself - get the pill. We ordered it from india bc insurance wouldn't pay. Its like $4 over there and $300 here. Took care of it. Its been like 7 years and I swear I still have ptsd from this lol |
Unlikely. You're all cleaned out. |
Would a person always know something's wrong? -- that they might have a worm. |
I read this entire thread and Benihana is where I started laughing at this post (only with chopsticks almost got me) |
There is so much misinformation on this thread. Pinworms do not come from raw fish or the dirt or your dog. The eggs for airbourne. They spread from person to person. You can got other parasites from rawfish, etc, but not pinworms. You need to do 2 treatments several weeks apart clean sheetsm clothes, etc in extra hot water. Also, if your kids' school bathrooms always run out of soap, send your kid with some soap and work with the school on a solution even if you need parent volunteers going around because the custodians are understaffed and overworked. Just by having regular soap in the bathroom we could improve so many things including spread of illnesses. |
Please cite the research that says PINWORMS help wit allergies. Maybe a different kind of worm, but have never heard pinworms. |
DD had pinworms and yes they were visible in the toilet. |
Minus seeing the items, a lot of the symptoms sounds like peri menopause. |
Items = worms |
Lol….my peri does not cause mu butt to itch at night. Girl, your peri may be pinworms! |
Growing in a third world country, we were regularly given deworming meds. Like once every 6 months or so.
Pinwormd come out of your poop and sway gently on top of your poop, even without medicine. |
American kids get pinworms from pets too. Gross!
|
Link? I read it only travels person to person often the eggs go airborne, but cannot be transmitted through pets. |
I had this once, traced it back (to the best of my knowledge) to the undercooked pork I ate at a Japanese restaurant in Georgetown Park Mall (late 1980's). I was in my early 20's. I don't recall itching, but I did see them. I realized I had them when I found them crawling around in my upper interior thigh area - I was horrified. Doctor gave me some type of pill to get rid of them. |
how was it diagnosed?? |
