The entire edifice of the patriarchy exists to funnel young, attractive women into sex with old, unattractive men.

And it works because women are more likely to blame the "other woman" for using her advantages (sex appeal, charm) to eke her way through the world rather than the man who provides benefits in exchange, or the system of men that encourage it.

Women like Dianna are playing the cards they've been dealt. It sucks not all women have those cards to play, but the only reason she has to is because the deck's been stacked against women everywhere.
