DP. Are you this unpleasant IRL? All of the people who are coming to DC will be able to attend the celebrations at the Capital Center. Don't you fret. |
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() This sheer idiocy on this thread just keeps giving. |
Not one member of Congress or other dignitary would want to be outside in those temps. They're probably all thanking their lucky stars that now they don't have to. |
Precisely. It's going to be four years of this inanity. Damned if he does, damned if he doesn't. DP |
Get a coat. Seriously, stop being a weakling whiner and get a coat. |
DP. "Bucking history"? Reagan had his second inauguration inside too, due to the freezing temps. Educate yourself. |
+1 Report the troll. Stop responding. |
True enough. Most likely damned… |
There are usually hundreds of thousands who attend the inaugural. The Capital One Arena (the captial centre closed over 20 years ago) holds at best, 20,000 for an event like this. Visitors are being told their tickets are "commemorative" now. |
Kennedy and Obama held their inaugurals outside in comparable weather. What is it about the GOP that they are so flinty? |
temps for Reagan's second inaugural were more than 30 degrees colder than this. |
https://www.faa.gov/uas/resources/community_engagement/no_drone_zone/dc They’re not allowed. |
After all this, did the Flag really needed to fly at full mast? |
He won’t be able to complain about crowd size. |
I see Dems finally found that weather machine manual. |
