And the paramilitary Proud Boys are back, right on cue.

If they are so proud of themselves, why do they cover their faces?

Losers in every respect.

Polar vortex sweety.

Like yesterday's snow, it failed to show. Current temperature in DC is 26°, with wind chill feels like 16°. That's a bit cold but nothing like the predicted single digits of wind chill.

No one cares.

Trump redirected the limo from the White House to the Capitol?

I saw a bit of it at lunch at a restaurant today, just got home and it’s nearly 6 and still going on? And why are they seated so far away from each other and Vanessa Trump in back but not ivanka? Vance and his dw must be exhausted by little kids in this situation for so long!

They’re too young, I wonder why they had the kids participate.

Barron looks miserable.

Can you imagine attending college in NYC and having Trump as a father?

This indoor Trump parade certainly beats Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade!

I know! They must be so bored and it’s a lot to manage.

I'm wondering that myself. Obama had to do an oath of office redo after repeating a word out of sequence, but Trump gets a pass for not placing his hand on the Bible?

Trump gets a pass for everything.

You idiots know there is no law requiring one to place their hand on the Bible (or any book) while taking the oath... right? Apparently not.

There is no legal requirement for the president to place his hand on the Bible. According to Article VI, Clause 3, of the U.S. Constitution, which covers oaths of office, members of Congress, state legislatures, and executive and judicial officers throughout the country are bound "by oath or affirmation" to support the Constitution.

"But," it continues, "no religious Test shall ever be required as a Qualification to any Office or public Trust under the United States."

Makes it seem small and not that important and of limited consequence without all the hoopla of a big inauguration outside. Small space. Small inauguration. Small speech. small man.

You seem out of touch.

I've seen an awful lot of inaugurations. This one was not grand and he didn't do himself any favors with his speech full of his usual crying and whining.

The majority of Americans would disagree with you.

Small, petty. No leadership, no grand ideals, no standing up for democracy in the world.

Whah whah whah...America first. Once you have to whine about that instead of just leading by example, it becomes small.

I love how MAGA has been whining crying and putting down Biden the last four years and now they are butt hurt that people with common sense and decency are speaking up about how disgraceful this "presidency" is. So MAGA

To which people are you referring? Because the truly nasty LWNJs on this forum do not in any way epitomize "common sense and decency." It's so amusing that you think otherwise, but also unsurprising.

Overall, this is pretty lame. Reminds me of a company town hall, not a presidential inauguration.
Ridiculous that Bezos, Musk, etc. are seated right by Trump's family
Bezos' girlfriend is dressed entirely inappropriately, looks like he picked up a woman of the night outside and brought her as his date
Melania generally dresses well, I think, but that hat looks silly and should be removed
Mrs. Vance looks like she is being held hostage

Jyna, Jyna, Jyna.

Gee, I thought we didn't like Jyna. Now we're bending the knee to them.

BUCKLE UP....the circus is here.
