For those in the back, no one cares about the coaching situation at Visi.

If you care about the game of lacrosse and growing the sport for girls, it is better for Visi to have a competitive program. No connection to Visi here but it’s sad to see the program stumble like this. I hope they get back on their feet soon.

Agree but it seems that the school has its focus elsewhere. Other schools in the area are doing a better job of attracting scholar/athletes and supporting their programs. Visi is focused on attracting the “Visi girls” - legacies to make big donors happy.

Spot on.

Facilities are dump compared to their rival schools.

Every Visi student is a “Visi girl”.

That's interesting. A father of a current player?

My experience is that Fall Brawl and Valentine’s Shootout are always coached by parents. But what do I know?!

False. ISL rules don’t allow coaches to coach their teams in the off season, including Fall Brawl, The St James league, Indoor Championships at Spooky Nook or anything else. You will often see the coaches watching from the sidelines, especially SR and SSSAS. Off season teams are usually coached by parents or alums

But if the person is not *technically* the coach yet, they aren't breaking any rules?

I would never judge a daddy on fall brawl and if they can actually coach. Most fall brawl teams that visi will be plying are public school and a mix of jv and varsity and not a good indication of “good coaching”.
Anyone with even no lax experience can take a visi team into fall brawl and dominate, or at least they should be able to dominate

I think Visi would be lucky to get a "dad" who played at one of the best D1 programs in the country and is in almost every Sports Hall of Fame in the DMV. He's also an awesome boys and girls coach.

Good luck with that

Me too. Know who you are talking about and it would be great. Girls already respect him.
