Otherwise looks like a good showing for Dems. The unbiased polls were likely correct, Dems hold Senate and Republicans take house. That house margin is looking more narrow than anyone thought.
Except they won't both run...and DeSantis will end up as the next Scott Walker.
Agreed that DeSantis would have been an extremely competitive candidate - and would have beat Biden, at least, easily.
But a downside of forming a cult around a gameshow host is you end up in situations like this.
DeSantis is nothing like Scott Walker.
Are you sure, because they both won multiple statewide elections but have zero personality and
proved repellent to national voters. 🤔
He just won re-election by 20 percentage points after winning by 30k votes 4 years ago. I bet his National name recognition is through the roof. He absolutely can win a National election.
desantis will never have a chance with 'national voters'. neither will mike pence, tim scott, or nimrata randhawa. they all preferred to uncritically support trump - and after this godawful midterm performance for an out party, they will immediately line up with trump for his pending white house bid.
by the way...where are all the republicans this evening. they were very vocal the last few days.
