Them are fightin’ words.

I still enjoy Full House. But I hated Fuller House.

Bridgerton was a chore to get through.

Yes!

Kate Beckinsale and Liz Hurley, too! love it when there are daylight unfiltered pics on Daily Mail of these two

I just googled the unfiltered “unflattering” pics and wow, if I look like that when I am their age, I will be nothing but grateful… I mean I won’t, but it’s a nice thought.

That’s what having millions of dollars will get you.

I have been watching the show Call me Kay (with Mayim Bialik) and it’s cheesy af but I enjoy it anyway.

Sometimes I just really enjoy a classic multi-cam sitcom with a laugh track and cheesy jokes.

Looking like that is what got them millions of dollars.

Yes, yes and yes. It had so much promise and I really wanted to like it.

I despise the Kardashians for a whole slew of reasons. But this is probably not an unpopular opinion, fortunately

PREACH!

I think people who use words like “preach” and “woke” sound seriously uncool and old

Bo Burnham put it best... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y7im5LT09a0

Same! I think I liked it more than my DD, which is not saying much. The Bruno song is catchy in an ear worm way but the movie itself felt so thin. Also, we are Latino and something about the cultural portrayal bugged me. I guess it's the way it leaned hard into certain stereotypes. It felt corny to me and I feel like the family dynamics left no one to root for at all. It just kind of felt like a bummer.

But we just don't get into Disney movies much at all anyway. We've tried Frozen, Moana, Luca, now Encanto, and while DD likes dressing up like Elsa, she's never asked to watch any of them again and actively panned Moana and Encanto (she found Moana too scary and Encanto boring). I feel similar about them all as I do about a lot of the Marvel movies -- they are formulaic, the characters are weak, and the climax of the movie is often the part where I am most bored and restless. But at least the Marvel movies are sometimes funny.

PP, try Up, Brave, Toy Story, and Wall-E. Not formulaic and really actually thought provoking and heart felt. Up is really amazing.

Nicole Kidman is not a good actor, particularly for drama roles.

She always seems stiff and like she’s drugged. She seems slightly better in comedies where she seems more relaxed, can smile and seems like a real person.

She does seem like a nice person and I’m particularly happy for her success given how Tom treated her, but I just always think she’s so awkward it ruins anything with her in it.

+1

And I’m in a bi-racial marriage! It feels like it’s pandering and not authentic.

-1. I am bi-racial and will never forget how awesome it was to see the Cheerios commercial with a a mixed family. That lasted about 24 hours until the rage of the public that slandered freakin Cheerios. I don’t understand how something like that can be forced but seeing two black actors or two white actors doesn’t seem forced. I guess it’s true, people really do see color (even if they’re in a bi-racial marriage).

Me again. I mean this commercial was only NINE years ago and that was almost a first of its kind. It’s for reasons like this woman, we need more representation despite how “forced” you PPs think this looks. SMH.
