| Go for it, OP. But you won’t be the first person to name their kid that. There was a Moxie in our school about 5 years ago in Fairfax County before the family moved out of the area. Everyone was fine with it. She was a nice kid. |
|
You could use it as a nickname. Any combination of a strong Mo sound and an X name would work. Then she’d still have a traditional resume name and you could use Moxie as long as it makes sense
Ramona Lux Monica Phoenix Mona Roxanne |
| On the other hand how do you feel about Roxie? Roxanne/Roxanna is a great name. |
Mary Beatrix would work too! |
|
Yes, you can.
I, personally, wouldn't, but it's not my baby, it's yours. |
|
Moxie sounds like a dog not a kid.

Moxie Foxie Cleopatra
Sound like the 70s |
| My aunt is a Roxanne who goes by "Roxie". I'm sure Moxie could work for that too. I really love the name Roxanne! |
| No, it would be a stupid name. |
| Stripper name |
| Should you? No. Can you? Also no. |
|
I love it as a nickname, but she'd have to earn it. A timid, fearful child couldn't be called Moxie.
The best stock dog I ever had was called Moxie, so I'm partial to it. |
You win. I'm dying, thanks to the coffee that just came out of my nose. |

Trixie
Maisie Roxie But I'm just not sure about Moxie |
| Sure, go ahead. I admire your moxie! |
