Lol nobody cares that you drive Hondas even though you have $4 million. |
| My 2011 Caddilac runs like new and looks great. |

Truly wealthy people aren't driving something like a BMW X3 or Audi A4. There are plenty of families in DC/Mclean/Bethesda who drive the full-size American SUVs.
As to the price delta on the Escalade, they're all really nice SUVs nowadays but the Escalade interior is a BIG step up from the Tahoe/non-Denali Yukon.
|
| I don’t care or judge what other people drive. |
| Yes because I can pretend I’m a rapper from the dirty south instead of just mom |
|
I don't own one but my BIL does. While I couldn't bring myself to spend that much for an SUV, especially an American made one, they are super comfortable to ride in - and you feel better protected due to the size.
But yeah, when I pick up my kids from elementary school it surprises how often I see petite moms driving these behemoths. |
What does this post even mean? Of course wealthy people don't drive an A4 because that's a first job entry level vehicle out of college for a business major. |
Found the X3 driver! |

It's all about the Section 179 deduction.
Clever UMC and rich do not give a flying f*** that these gigantic rigs cost $80K or $90K or $100K plus because they are driving them for practically free. |
This is true if they are self employed. You have to get a huge suv because the deduction was written for work trucks, but some of the luxury suvs quality by weight. |
You sound like a horrible driver. Aggressive behavior is sometimes in response to poor behavior. Why were you moving slow? We're you on the left lane? If so, that's really horrible driving. |
This. Low IQ and critical thinking skills, insecure. |

Cars appeal to Americans emotionally. That is why there are different car manufacturers and different makes/models. Why do you care what someone else drives? Drive what you like.
I drive a Tesla MS because I like how it drives. I HATE the Tesla community and dozens of points about the car, but it really drives well. So until I can find a great replacement, I'll putter around in my MS. I really do not make assumptions about the cars that people drive because everybody has a reason. Otherwise I would have written off Prius drivers years ago. |
| Where I live in Southeast Michigan, it's the soccer mom flagship. |
Uh... no. I drive a $100k car |
