Do you eat at Chick-Fil-A?

Now I eat there more because it pisses off crazy far-left people like her. The company doesn't even donate to anti-gay groups anymore, but the far left doesn't want to be bothered with facts any more than the far right does.

Also, I live in a part of the country where if I wanted to avoid every business that supports conservative viewpoints I disagree with, I wouldn't be able to go anywhere or do anything.

There were Memes and tweets that people bought into. Feel bad people that claim to be educated don’t fact check.

Luckily I like Popeye's chicken sandwich more than Chick Fil A's

“ in November 2019, Chick-fil-A's donations got attention again when the company announced its areas of charity focus for 2020 — education, homelessness and hunger — and expanded partnerships with Junior Achievement, Covenant House and local food banks.

The shift in focus meant the company's charity initiative would no longer involve donations to groups that had previously fueled criticism, including the Salvation Army and Fellowship of Christian Athletes.”

I do not eat there expect in extreme circumstances (twice during the pandemic when i was out running errands and my blood sugar dropped and it was the only drive thru/curbside experience where i could get a quick OJ and nuggets), and yes, it's bc of their stance on LGBTQ issues. It's not so much the CEo's opinion that bothers me, it's that they specifically take the money I give them for food and turn it into donations to deprogramming and other anti-gay programs)

Do you eat at Jimmy John’s? The owner pays to hunt endangered species.
Lots of owners of big chains support causes we don’t or do things we don’t approve of. Chick FIL A just got a lot of publicity about it.

14:18 PP here. I tried to tell this crazy person that CFA stopped donating to those causes (and showed her links), and she said, "BUT THEY'RE GOING TO DO IT AGAIN IN THE FUTURE!!". You cannot argue with people who don't want you to buy chicken from people who will be committing imaginary future thought crimes. They're impervious to reason. They're literally exactly like the people who think Trump will be reinstated as president and COVID is a hoax, just on the other end of the ideological spectrum.

Nobody is perfect in the organizations the support but chick fil a is so imperfect it’s easy for me to think that I really shouldn’t support them.

We are a LGBTQ+ couple/family and we eat at our local CFA because the independent franchise owner does support LGBTQ+ rights.

We are a two gay parent family. Hell no, we don’t eat there. We’re not self hating. The owners hate us. Literally hate me and my family. I don’t need to support that in any way and I don’t.

I would be disappointed to see other lgbtq people or allies eat there.

Yet they signed on. You lie down with dogs...

Meh, I don't think they're food is anything great. I will, however, cross 6 lanes of traffic for a lemonade.

No. Costco’s just bare chicken nuggets taste very similar. We also have some really good Korean fried chicken places near us. Hate free chicken is possible!

This reminds me a bit of when elaine is boycotting a pizza chain because they are anti-abortion and then Jerry asks her if she has asked her New boyfriend his stance on abortion rights. Do you know how your local Korean chicken purveyors feel about gays?
Just kidding, mostly.
