People trying to claim that Metro is uniquely awful are doing a major disservice to the truth. |
...or who haven't been paying attention to how WMATA employees can't be bothered to do any aspect of their jobs with any degree of diligence or customer service--you know, like safety inspections, directing customers to restrooms, general service at station kiosks, etc. |
So I will agree that a tap on the butt is different from more intense assaults, but it is absolutely unacceptable public behavior, is assault from a legal standpoint, and is a matter of public safety, no matter what their "community" says. Gross and offensive. Oh and by the way, what "community" thinks it's OK for boys/men to behave this way? |
Engaging in whataboutism is a distraction from the dealing with the truth. |
| Transit Police is the lowest bar of law enforcement. The worst. Do not expect help or bother with reporting anything to them. |
You can disagree with reality as much as you want. But reality doesn’t care. |
Probably the same troll as on the other threads. Yawn. |
The WMATA shill who is trying to derail the discussion isn't fooling anyone. Bottom line is that WMATA needs to shape up before people are willing to spend their own money on it. Unfortunately, it seems like the existing management don't have any incentive to improve. |
|
So what's the alternative? Can you file a claim with "real" police, or does WMATA police have sole jurisdiction? |
| If you simply eliminated metro police, there would be far fewer crimes reported, which would then show a major reduction in crime. In this case, defunding the police would be proven to be a major reducing factor in crime. |
If the crime occurred in the Metro system, it is their jurisdiction unfortunately. |
| You see the movie death wish, good history lesson what DC needs to keep the BLM thugs in check |
