Something New is really cute, as are Bend It Like Beckham, Bridget Jones' Diary, and Love Actually. For a truly girlie flick - I love anything Jane Austen (Sense and Sensibility, Persuasion and the BBC version of Pride and Prejudice with Colin Firth). For foreign movies, try Italian for Beginners or Amelie (more serious, but still beautiful, Antonia's Line).
