If you workout daily, how many sports bras and bottoms do you own?

I have four or five sports bras, maybe five pairs of running shorts, three capri leggins and maybe three long leggings. I'd say I work out 5 days a week, though, and do laundry frequently.

I work out ~6 days a week and do gym clothes laundry weekly. I have six sports bras. For bottoms, I do different kinds of activities where I use different bottoms. I lift and do crossfit-style HIIT at the gym and I run. For running I'll wear running shorts or tights, and for the gym I will wear leggings or tighter shorts. I have about 4 pairs of running shorts, 5 leggings, and only 2 pairs of tighter shorts.

I only started going back to the gym a month ago when I became fully vaxxed, so my workouts have recently shifted to be mostly the gym and only 1-2 days a week of running. I need to buy more gym appropriate shorts. In previous years I always wore leggings to the gym and now I can't fathom why. It's too hot!

I only have 2 pairs of running tights, and when I ran more often weekly I would rewear them before washing. Since I only wore them when it was cold they didn't get too gross. I don't do that during sweatier times.

I've gone through a lot of changes with pregnancy and postpartum, and I have fairly big boobs so I need a "good" sports bra, and I just haven't want to invest so much money in a bra when my size is going to change. The most important thing is that it keeps my boobs from bouncing, and a dirty bra does that.... I air it out between workouts and wash it every few days. I don't recommend this to people, but just saying, I do it and nobody has died haha.

I can get away with this in the winter sometimes, but above 50 degrees, and especially now, above 70, I’m soaked. As far as sports bras go, I have only found one style that works for me, so I stock up on them.

Old school racer back ones. I hate anything with clasps, zippers, or intricate straps. But I’m also an A cup so I’m more looking for comfort than functional hold/support

Not sure where you shop but check out TJ Maxx, Nordstrom Rack, Target, etc sports bras only run $10-15 and lots of different brands to choose from.

Champion makes surprisingly good, inexpensive sports bras.

OT: Those zip up ones are a pain in the ass. I'm a 38DDD, and I just gave away the one I had because it was too annoying. It also didn't hold me in as well as the old champion ones I had from amazon. On the lookout for better ones though. I need high impact and actual sizes, not XXXL or whatever.

I have about 6 bras and 6 shorts, all from Old Navy and Target. Never saw the need for luxury brands for this stuff (also, I'm an A cup so basically just need any old piece of comfy material and not a lot of support).

At least 20 of each. Probably more if you count leggings which I only wear in winter. But having cute workout clothing is one of the biggest motivators for me on days I don’t want to actually get up and go. I love Free People Movement.

I run almost every day and go for a 60-90 minute walk, plus weights or yoga an additional 3-4 days. I have 8 or 9 high impact sports bras, 5 low impact bras, probably 20 short sleeved and tank top shirts, 3 long sleeve shirts, 5 pairs of shorts and about a dozen running tights. I have 2 pairs of normal running shoes, a pair of hybrid shoes, a pair of trail runners and 2 pairs of walking shoes. I know it’s a lot.

3 running bras, 4 medium impact bras, and 3 yoga/low impact bras. I have 7 shorts (some running shorts and some bike shorts). I have a variety of shirts but find I only wear them if I'm running. I have a peloton and I usually skip the shirt because I get so sweaty and hot.

Interesting. I wear the same kind of medium impact bra for all activities from running to weights to yoga. I have tried all types and only like the Lululemon Energy longline or its dupe from CRZ Yoga.

I probably have 30 sports bras, 15 pairs of leggings, 10
Pairs of shorts. I only do laundry every couple weeks and can’t reuse sports bras, it causes backne for me. I have a mix of lots of different brands and the more expensive ones do seem to last much longer. I easily get 10 years out of Lululemon leggings, but the CRZ stuff seems to fall apart after a year.

You clearly are not stacked. Those are not supportive in the way she means.

If you only do laundry every couple of weeks, don’t your workout clothes get stinky? My bras get absolutely soaked even in the spring and doubly so in the summer. I need to throw them in the wash every other day at least and hang dry.
