10 yr old son with foot pain

A friend of mine's DD had this recently - diagnosed as Severe's disease, just a growth related situation which improves with time, but does need some care.

Our goddaughter was diagnosed with Sever's Disease at 11 and also told she would outgrow it. 6 months later they found out it was Ewing Sarcoma and the foot had to be amputated. My advice - do not accept Sever's Disease at face value. Get a 2nd opinion.

Thanks for posting this. My 12yo son has been having problems with his feet for the last few months. This is definitely a possibility.
