| FCV relies on recruitment. Their older teams are good because they and MYS were the only ecnl clubs in town. They left for DA and a lot more clubs entered ecnl. DA, now GA, is a clear loser vs ecnl on the girls side. All of the accolades from the older FCV teams is not representative of the future of FCV. All of the crazy FCV posts is because parents know they have to recruit to be competitive (many of the older girls came from Loudoun and Loudoun is a geographical competitor now in a better league, which is why there is extra venom vs Loudoun) hence the brag posts about coaching, college placement, YNT, etc. Many of the coaches see the future so they are leaving en mass except for the top ones who won’t get an equivalent position at another local club due to their reputations (and why they left their previous clubs to relocate here). FCV is also owned by TSJ, which is in the business of making money. These FCV folks got paid and now run a for profit organization. Revenues are from player fees. |

FCV will continue its success despite how hard you wish otherwise. The coaches list below from last week’s GA FL showcase at IMG speaks for itself...the GA seems to be doing more than fine, although I’m sure you’ll enlighten us all with your ECNL wisdom.

FCV in a nutshell. Defensive + Promotion, promotion and more promotion. |
|
FCV apparently has an inside track to VMI. 😂
Ecnl clubs don’t have to travel to Florida and lose a bunch of game for that kind of college exposure. |
| Take your Biden loving kids elsewhere. You people are ruining our country. FCV will be fine and will beat your kids club anytime. |
| FCV has superior coaching, promotion and college placement. |
Looks like the owners of that solar company now run Virginia Revolution. |
How are the FCV 2009’s looking? |
| FCV will fade out soon enough |
None of the coaches weee there. Fake news. |
Still not a call up. It’s a regional kick around. That’s not a call up. A call up is for kids called into a national team camp. That is a call up. |
for the zoom call? wow??? lots more girls from lots more clubs got the "call" because it's a call - a literal call |
I want to avoid him too! My daughter wants to play in college and not GMU! |
Mason is a D1 school -- presumably higher level soccer than a lot of the commitments being announced from various clubs around the area lately. Not saying anything about TT, but don't knock Mason for no reason. |
+1 Avoid TT |
