+ like 8 for Bookstore Movers. We recently moved from a 3br in Shaw to Bethesda. They were delightful, well priced, and just all around excellent. My parents used them a few months prior and had a similarly good experience. We polled friends prior, and Bookstore Movers was the hands-down recommendation.

Came on here to say Great Scott. Loved them. |
I would also recommend Bookstore Movers. We used them for a local move from Dupont Circle to Palisades and they were fantastic.
anyone particularly good and affordable that you may need to hire for multiple local moves to a storage facility? boxes first and then furniture later?
NOT My Guys.
I think Town & Country is great.
Do NOT use 'Two Marines and a Truck'! Liars and thieves!
I got quotes from a lot of names on this list. Mic's and Treasure Moving Company were the cheapest. Used both on separate occasions and both did a great job.
Also recommend Bookstore Movers. Great experience, polite movers, careful, well-priced. Moved 8 miles in MoCo.
Another vote for Bookstore Movers here.
Good to hear, I’m probably the one who recommended Mic’s. They did a great job for us a few years back and must be doing something right because I see their trucks everywhere now. They were very small then. |
Town & Country are incredible. They just moved us halfway across the country. The price was more than reasonable, and all of our stuff arrived in perfect condition. The guys in our crew were amazing. They were so pleasant, and considering I was just anxious about the move in general, really reassuring in a comforting way.
Town and country quoted me more than $6000 for moving the contents of a 2000-sq-ft house. I did not get a good vibe from the person who gave us three in-home estimate.

NO ‘Two Marines and a Truck!”
