This sounds so good. Do you mind sharing your marinade recipe? I rarely cook as my spouse does it but I love lamb kababs. Thank you in advance if you do.

I've never had ham on Easter. Lamb is standard.

Nothing says "new life" like eating baby sheep!

Decorate the cake with fluffy white icing or white buttercream. If your kids eat coconut then sprinkle that on the cake. Or affix mini marshmallows. My kids used to loooooooove the lamb cake when they were little.

PP, I am not familiar with Lam Cakes, let alone molds but you got me curious..
So I googled

so this is what popped up.. first...

wait.. here is the best part it is on WIKI HOW.. omg.. this is not a lamb it is some Wik.. ness.. monster!!!
One scale of O to 10 I would rate it 100.. run for your life ugly

luckily there were more on google that looked the part..

while some looked like labrapoodle or doodle whichever infernal breed the DCUM is all excited about..

Yet some beg not to be disturbed..

So the mold is a thing.. but I think that like with everything in life.. people star with the same and end up in very different places..

Op here. A fun side we decided on was ambrosia salad. You know the marshmallows, oranges, cherries, and pineapples in cool whip/sourcream/ yogurt (depends on the recipe) My tots made it completely by themselves too.

I also got the lamb mold and am making it tomorrow! Can’t wait to see how it turns out.

I truly love holidays with small kids! I’m sure they’ll look different in their 20s with fancier recipes and bespoke cocktails before dinner, but these sure are fun ages!

The smell of it roasting is exquisite especially after it has been marinaded and grilled over an open fire. Yum
