That’s cute. Parents have been raging to go full force 5 days a week...........

+1. I bet the same parents who are screeching that teachers who are vaccinated need to return to the buildings ASAP, no excuses, are the same ones who think it's fine for vaccinated admin and central office employees to continue to WFH.

Yep. In fact, I bet there’s some overlap between those groups.

Why do Central Office staff need to come in? Seriously- I feel like HR, finance, transportation coordinators, whatever, could work from home if it helps them while their kids are only in school two days a week. I’m a teacher. It does not upset me.

LOL, I bet. If Central Office is working from home, why were they able to get vaccinated in a priority group along with staff who returned in person?

I think that is very poor leadership.

So... The schools would be closed again haha.

The venn diagram of parents who want their kids back in the building 5 days a week and those that are fine with everyone else in the school district working virtually is a hilarious crossover.

What are you- just dumb? They didn’t make that decision.

We see you, Central Office staffer who got vaccinated as a priority employee but doesn't want to return to the office.

Oh, no, no no. There's "no spread in schools," remember? And schools are "safer than the community." So get in there and show the teachers how it's done!

Okay, you have an agenda, whatever. Personally, if I had to go back to work in person, I would like to minimize the number of unvaccinated adults I was exposed to. Schools aren't magically safe, they are safe because we are taking appropriate mitigation measures: masking, distancing, etc. So fewer unvaccinated people in the building would be safer.

Administrator’s have their own private offices.

+1 I think it is a travesty that all of the administrators at central offices are not working in the office.

I think that’s unnecessary. I’m a teacher. I need to be in person, but it doesn’t upset me if someone from central office who is able to work from home, does. That’s just petty.

OP here. I’m not talking about Central Office, I’m talking about our building administrators.

Tell that to my principal.

This thread is not about central office staff.
